Installation Instructions

1. Mount enclosure: Install the 14? × 16? fiberglass enclosure on a stable foundation.

2. Install operator: Securely attach the 400 CBAC hydraulic unit to the gate leaf, ensuring proper alignment.

3. Wire control panel: Connect input power (115?VAC), safety devices, receiver, and any accessories to the 455D control panel.

4. Setup radio: Plug in the 433 RC receiver and program the XT4 transmitters.

5. Verify manual release: Confirm that the key-protected manual override works correctly for emergency gate release.

6. Install safety stops: Use positive stops at open/closed positions to protect the system .

7. Test operation: Run full open-close cycles to ensure smooth motion and correct locking functionality.

Safety / Secure Section

Safe and Secure Operation: Built-in hydraulic bypass valve offers anti-entrapment protection, and the key-protected manual release allows for manual operation during power failures. The hydraulic lock secures the gate in open and/or closed positions for added stability and safety

Recommendations

• Install monitored photo-cells to comply with UL325 and enhance safety against obstructions. Some kits already include XP 30 photobeam sensors .

• Use proper hydraulic oil. For extreme temperatures, consider requesting Arctic-grade fluid (part no.?1042011277.5) to ensure performance in cold environments

• Include positive mechanical stops at both gate positions to deter over-travel.

• Follow UL325 compliance when installing safety systems (photo-cells, loop detectors, etc.).
