The FAAC S418 24V Electro-Mechanical Swing Gate Operator (Model 104301.5) delivers high-performance automation for residential swing-leaf gates. This low-voltage, 24VDC system offers continuous-duty operation, making it ideal for frequent use. Fueled by a 35W motor and drawing only 1.5A, the S418 applies up to 180daN (approximately 404lbf) of thrust to gates up to 12ft (3.7m) or 500lb (227kg). Thanks to integrated opening and closing mechanical stops, adjustable speed settings, and a robust E024U control board with virtual encoder and reverse-on-contact safety, installation is streamlined and safe. Multi-position, non-welded brackets make fitting flexible and efficient. The unit includes a manual release lever and built-in battery backup to guarantee reliable operation—even during power outages. Supported operating temperature ranges from –20°C to +55°C (–4°F to 131°F), and its solid IP54-rated construction ensures outdoor durability.
